Proposal To Promoting The Use Of Worksheets In The English Language Classes

Abstract

Mozambique as an island surrounded by English Speaking countries such as South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia,
Malawi, and Tanzania (LOPES :2016). Teaching English language involves the use different activities designed by teachers to allow their students to learn English language and one of effective activity is worksheets. During teaching practice at Escola Secundária de 25 de Setembro-Angoche, in the week of observation, the researcher noted that grade 11 students has difficult to learn English language during the classes and teachers don’t use worksheets to their students, worried with the situation the researcher decided to undertake in order to find out the reasons why grade 11 teachers at Escola Secundária de 25 de Setembro-Angoche don’t use worksheets in English language classes.
